The Senior Citizens Center offers activities of games, music, cards, dinners, and occasional trips for senior citizens.
Summer recreation programs include girls softball, Legion baseball, and swimming. Other recreation programs include co-ed sand volleyball and bowling leagues. The A museum, sod house, log cabin, country church, restored country school, a Union Pacific caboose, and the Governor's Arboretum are some of the local attractions that can be seen at the Polk County Historical Society grounds.
